A mint operating between 801-1720 and 1808-1879.

Charles the Great and the Carolingian emperors, as well as local bishops and counts, minted coins here.

It was inactive between 1808 and 1814.

Until 1833 VII. Ferdinand minted coins, between 1837-1849 II. Izabella BARCELONA or with the letter B. After 1850, the eight-pointed star mintmarks appeared.

In 1868 the Provisional Government closed the mint and in 1869 all production was done in Madrid.

Oeschger Mesdach & Company (OM mint mark) XII. He minted copper coins in the name of Alfonz until 1879, when the building was finally closed and given to private ownership.
